Is it safe to connect OKX?
Yes. You create the API key yourself with Read permission only — no trading, no withdrawals. The key, secret and passphrase are stored AES-256-encrypted and used solely to read your history, positions and balances. Delete the account anytime and its data goes with it.
Do I need the passphrase?
Yes — OKX requires an API passphrase alongside the key and secret. You set it yourself when creating the key, and it is encrypted at rest like the rest of your credentials.
Where does my P&L come from?
From OKX’s own position-history records, so entries, exits and realized P&L match the exchange. Trading fees and funding payments are then netted for a true result.
Does it handle funding on perpetuals?
Yes, every funding payment is synced and attributed, and the dashboard can display P&L net of fees and funding.
Can I connect OKX alongside other exchanges?
